Leather Bottells
All of our bottells are hand crafted to be as authentic as possible while still keeping prices reasonable. Sewing is done by hand with a 2 needle saddle stitch. Hardwood plugs are individually turned and sealed in either wax or walnut oil. The bottells themselves are sealed in a food safe rubber that will stand up to anything DRINKABLE, hot or cold.
Late Period BottellThe Late period Bottlell is based off a similar style found on the Mary Rose warship. This version features 2 rows of offset stitching. Turned hardwood plug and a plug leash that can slide to either side of the 1/2" wide shoulder strap. Approximately 1 quart capacity. Available in Brown or Black. (color may vary slightly) $85.00
Early Period BottellThe Early period bottell is based on a 10th century ceramic piece found in England. Made to the same standards as our late period model. Holds approximately 1 quart. Available in brown or black. $85.00
Costrel (3 Piece Bottell)
Based on another period design this bottell has the advantage of being able to stand up on it's own. Sewn by hand and made to our high standards with the same features as the other bottells. Holds approximately 1/2 gallon. Available in brown or black. $110.00
