OUR MISSION
To provide you with the best possible, hand-crafted products at affordable prices and to assure customer satisfaction!
Grimald's leatherworks demands a high standard in our work. All products are hand-crafted from start to finish. All leather is cut, sewn, and finished by hand. Stitching is done with a 2 needle saddle stitch to assure strength. ALL finished products must meet MY APPROVAL before they go to the customer. Our customer service then assures that you, the consumer, are pleased with your product.

I started doing leatherwork in 1984 at the age of 16. My first project was a simple jacket pattern but that was all it took. My next project was a pair of knee high boots that lasted for years. I spent the next 16 years teaching myself to make everything from simple rock sling to a carved Scythian bowcase.
I joined the SCA in 1998 and became known as Grimald Rauening. As a fan of history, this took me in a whole new direction. I'm involved in armored combat, archery, research and, of course, leatherwork. Before I knew it, people were asking me to make all kinds of things and Grimald's leatherworks was born.
I believe that for a business to succeed, the customer must like what they get. I work for you, the customer. Without you, I'm out of business. ALL work, mine or others, must meet my standard or it doesn't leave. This may cause me to be a little slower than other leather dealers but I insist on quality before quantity. This is MY promise to you.
